Installation Gallery

Walking up the stairs in the back of TIXE one enters the Installation Gallery. This space is not only a room of its own - to be transformed however the selected artists choose - but a passageway to the Artist's Studio. This dual purpose may be ignored completely by the installation artist, but there must be a way for the public (and the studio artist) to get to and from the studio.

Other than that, almost anything is possible.

Installations are of 4 weeks in duration, starting with a Monday load-in, and ending with a load-out that can begin on the last Saturday, but must be complete by midnight on the last Sunday of the installation exhibit.

Process / durational works will be considered.

A floor plan is available in Adobe .pdf format (though the space no longer exists)

These pictures were taken in the first day of TIXE occupancy and show some of the structures of the space. Colors and textures of the walls and ceilings will most likely change from month to month.
