APPLICATION DEADLINES
For projects August through December, 2009,
applications are due into chashama's offices by
5p on July 13, 2009.
Timeline & Conditions:
- Artists will be granted space for 1-4 week residencies, RENT FREE; please stipulate if your proposed project requires a specific term of residency.
- NOTE: Artists are no longer awarded a $50 stipend at the end of their residency.
- chashama will provide technical assistance in an advisory capacity ONLY; artists must be capable of installing, teching and de-installing their own projects!
- chashama will assist artists with creating and distributing a press release.

- Artists will be required to pay a fully-refundable security deposit ($75-$200 depending upon venue).

Required Application Materials:
- completed application form
- resume of key participants
- 1-2 page project proposal
- 1 page technical requirements
- work sample (CD/DVD of video or digital images, photographs; NO VHS)
- OPTIONAL: a drawing of how you plan to use the space
Note: chashama no longer returns submitted materials, and no longer offers stipends to artists selected.
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
