SOLD OUT PERFORMANCE!!!
Anyone who not on our confirmed attendee list was unfortunately not able to attend. We apologize that the venue wasn't large enough to accommodate all the people that wanted to attend.

This event sold no tickets the day of, and once all on the confirmed attendee list had entered, the venue was closed to the public.

We thank all of you for all the support. There were many things in store, because this was a no-filler happening. Anything that you missed, you have truly missed out. The strategy was to come early and get settled in for the long haul…until breakfast was served.

HL is the brainchild of its executive producer Darryl Hell. This is a series of performance laboratories, which provide a venue where mixed-media artists perform in a theatrical setting amongst like-minded experimental artists and are encouraged to develop concepts / ideas freely without the constraints of market driven forces. chashama Experimental Theater Complex @ Times Square graciously granted us their prime-located 111 W.42nd St. NYC venue for this event. The venue's unique mutli-level performance stages were well suited for the HL series.

This series was associate produced by a collective of national and international artists, producers, and venues. That is why the over-riding goal was to present an environment that celebrates as well as facilitates adventurous musical performance art.

The HellLab series has attracted many well respected performers and we are proud to say that HellLab 3 was able to present legendary experimental music/performance artists Genesis P-Orridge and EMIL BEAULIEAU. Both have made indelible marks on the international art, music & performance communities.

Genesis performed a sound collage set he's titled "Glambient". This was the debut of this performance and a revisiting of his earlier performance devices of Coum and Throbbing Gristle. Possibly a surprise for the end of his set for you…?

We also presented the culinary artists The Grub Club. They have created theme-based meals for The Rolling Stones, The Who, Melon, Robert Plant, Sting, Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow, Creed, Nelli & Enrique Eglesias, Cher, Luther Vandross, Yes, Jethro Tull, Timothy White and Roger Waters to name a few. Grub Club created and served HL3 theme specific meals for all the artists throughout the event…and something special to munch at 5am for all the artists and spectators.

We are also happy to inform you about (collectors hold your hats…) the premier appearance of an INDUSTRIAL RECORDS booth. Among the items it had for sale were ORIGINAL Gristled collectables and tons (tons meaning the largest amount of TG collectables you've probably seen in one place) of unreleased Throbbing Gristle and other goodies from the birth of the industrial genre. There may even have been a few jaw-dropping give-a-ways.

This was the world premier weekend of his book "Painful But Fabulous" and the first time it was made available to the public.

As always we continued to provide our $3 theme drinkz for you.
