Moments before, passing away
In Moments before, passing away, Julie Bacon presents a Glimpse Work. In one sense, this is an event of partial meaning, in another it is the remembering of the partiality of histories. This performance forms part of the Fact-archiving body of research Bacon has been developing since 1999, in which she questions the regulating authority of archives and their relationship to law-making, by making and exploring threads of historicisation in the physical and social spheres of everyday life. |
