Her/She Senses:

Angela Ellsworth is a performance and visual artist residing in Phoenix, Arizona. She teaches in the Intermedia Department at Arizona State University and chairs the Visual Arts Department at Metropolitan Arts Institute. She received her MFA in painting and performance art from Rutgers University and attended Skowhegan in 1993. She recently received fellowships from Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Surdna Foundation. She is co-founder of the non-profit performance organization Live Art Platform.

Tina Takemoto is an artist and Assistant Professor in Art History at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She received her Ph.D. in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester and has received fellowships from the James Irvine Foundation and the Getty Grant Foundation. She is currently working on a book manuscript entitled "Traumatic Repetition: Mimicry, Melancholia, Performance".
