99  is an exploration of perspective
for both audience and performer. Set within individual glass cases, each dancer is presented with an unusual cohabitation. What if the world around you was obscured or obstructed to the immediate focus, yet uninhibited where sight is not a luxury? The viewer will witness the performer evolve from a half body into a whole being, as they leverage their bestowed environment.

Caitlin Dutton is a dance artist and movement enthusiast from Savannah, GA. Since graduating from SUNY Purchase, she has created a one-time self proclaimed mini festival of guerrilla performances in Savannah, as well as small projects based in NYC. This year, she embarked on her most terrifying journey to date: the creation, nurture, and sustainment of a small company of collaborators dubbed caitlin+dancers. In addition to random sightings in Savannah, GA, her work has been shown at Dance Theater Workshop (now New York Live Arts), Chen Dance Center, Gibney Dance Center, the Robin Howard Theatre in London, UK, and in unconventional NYC spaces in cahoots with the Hoover Dam Collective. The company’s first collaborative project Stranger story will premiere at Triskelion Arts on September 12th.
