New York, NY

Performances:
Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27, 1pm – 2pm

Architecture Runway is a new piece for 10 dancers with live percussion by Jay Rosen. The piece is inspired by the architectural feel and energy of the space as it inspires and affects Nejman. Collaborating with the physical structure of the space, Architecture Runway combines meditative movements with contact improvisation and rhythmic gestures seeming as if suddenly the dancers embody real life runway models. The piece challenges the viewer's perception of stillness and enlivens the space through the dancer's presence and physical awareness of this busy corner of the city.
