The bold, colorful, geometric, and rhythmic silkscreens featured in JOHN MORNING / PRINTS showcase the power, precision, and richness of the medium. Morning's focus on color in determined structures is akin to notes in music, for which they are a visual analogue.

His prints are held by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, CUNY Graduate Center, New York University, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, as well as private collectors.

About the Artist
John Morning lives and works in Manhattan. He has been a graphic designer, art director, and an instructor at Pratt Institute, from where he graduated. His earliest art instruction was at The Cleveland Museum of Art. A former member of the Junior Council of the Museum of Modern Art, he is a current appointee to the New York State Council on the Arts and a board member of the International Print Center New York.
