One More Time explores repetition through the distinct lense of Sarah Jacobs' paintings.
In Jacobs' meticulously hand-painted canvases, patterns--either designed by the artist or gathered locally or from around the globe--collide with or change one another, in dramatic, often swirling compositions. Jacobs’ visual patterns represent modes of thought or patterns of living. These painted interactions speak to the complexity and beauty inherent in discovering, navigating, and adapting to new philosophies. Another of Jacobs' goals alive in these works is to force patterns, which normally flatten an image, into visual depth and volume using design principals.
