Port Washington native Sydell Glasser's most recent exhibition, Uncovered, at chashama Gallery 217 features paintings, drawings, and collages to explore the themes of individual identity, environment, artistic process, and the familiarity of people, places and objects of everyday life.  Uncovered features a body of work filled with images that are dramatic, comforting and sometimes disquieting.

The exhibition is made possible in part by an award from the National Endowment For The Arts and chashama. It includes figurative work, portraits, landscapes, and abstractions.
